You’ll be involved in the development and maintenance of our Java based e-commerce platform, gaining exposure to technologies such as Hybris, AEM and microservices. You’ll be joining a collaborative environment where you can bring your technical expertise as well as lending a hand to other areas such as front-end development and automation testing. You’ll be a senior member of the team with the opportunity to mentor those around you. We like people who are always looking to make things more efficient; it’s in our nature – code, ways of working, tools – and those who can collaborate with others in a productive and positive way. If you join us, you’ll be a part of an agile team of friendly, passionate people across development, quality, infrastructure and support.
We encourage our people to be inquisitive, to seek out answers and to strive for better. It’s what we stand for. You’ll be self-motivated and will enjoy challenges – no day will be the same. We’d love to see strong Java development experience, alongside exposure to Spring and Spring Boot. Experience of developing web applications or working on web-based products and knowledge of front-end development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) would be an advantage based on the nature of the role. A sound knowledge and development of Cloud based systems using AWS/Docker-based container management systems and using database technology, e.g. MySQL is also something we will be looking out for. This role will see you collaborating with 3rd parties so previous experience of this would be valuable. In addition, having exposure to Agile Scrum, Hybris, Docker, AWS, Gradle, Jenkins and the Atlassian toolset would also be beneficial but not essential.
We are following the government guidelines regarding COVID19. At this time all interviews will be conducted via video or telephone.
