One of the South-West’s most exciting start-ups have developed an awesome product for people looking to pick up short term work quickly whether it be decorating, labouring, farming or even window cleaning! Now is the time for them to grow an in-house team starting with the appointment of a Lead Developer who can be based anywhere in the South-West working from home. They need someone who can share their passion, refining the current product and who can help launch exciting, revenue unlocking new functionality.
What experience you’ll need
What you’ll be doing
You will be joining a start-up at a pivotable moment of growth, propelling the business into scale-up through the refinement of their current product as well as the development of multiple exciting new products/services. You’ll work closely with the CEO and CFO to identify key development areas and tech to support growth as well as sharing a passion for tech that helps people find work quickly. Much of the role will include back-end development of the current product, looking after the AWS set-up and contributing new ideas on features and iterations to improve membership. Code quality and standards are high so they’re keen to find someone with a meticulous eye for detail and someone with self-motivation who can pick up new skills as they go. There is a fantastic opportunity for personal development with the founders keen to find a technically skilled leader to take on the role of CTO where you will be tasked with growing out a team to support development needs.
What you’ll get in return for your talents
The salary on offer ranges from £55K-£70K depending on experience and existing skillset. Alongside this you’ll have 25 days holiday, flexible/remote working for 4/5 days a week as well as the introduction of a new employee share scheme. This truly is a very exciting start-up to be a part of and you’ll be in right from the start, making key technical decisions and shaping technical strategy on the path towards CTO.
