Key Responsibilities

As a Frontend Developer and part of an agile working environment, you will focus on front end development for web and mobile. It is therefore essential that you will have proven experience developing successful, standards compliant, rich, consumer facing websites as well as mobile sites using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

Technical skills


To be considered for the role of Front End UI Developer, you must have at least 3 years of experience with the following:

  • Excellent software development skills
  • HTML including HTML5
  • JavaScript, AJAX, JSON
  • Client-side frameworks like React, Angular and Vue
  • Knowledge of ES6, ES7+ specification
  • Creating optimized and clean frontend code
  • Knowledge of modern developments in Javascript & Node.JS
  • Experience of developing consumer facing responsive websites
  • Experience designing and implementing large scale web user interfaces
  • Experience of working from Invision, Zeplin or similar design tools (Not required to design)
  • Experience of integrating (Json or XML based) back-end services
  • Experience with version control systems (GIT, Subversion, CVS)
  • Webpack or other node based build tools

NOTE: You will be required to send examples of the websites you have developed. A URL would be sufficient with a brief summary of their involvement in each.


  • Experience and Good understanding of TypeScript
  • Experience with additional languages Java/C#/C++ etc.
  • Experience optimising pages for fast rendering
  • Experience of working on high traffic sites
  • Ideally the Frontend Developer will have experience with UX design.
  • Experience of developing sites especially targeting tablets e.g. IPads.
  • ASP.NET experience
  • Agile & Scrum Experience.
  • Unit Testing and TDD
