Role Purpose

We’re looking for a great Agile Delivery Manager. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the Agile teams are highly productive and operate without blockers. You’ll also be responsible for protecting the team to make sure that they are not distracted from their goal. You’ll assist in improving Curves evolving Agile ways of working. You’ll do everything possible to help the team function smoothly and deliver at their highest level. You are a facilitator by nature and must live and breathe the continuous improvement mindset.

Key Accountabilities:

• Effectively facilitate all Agile events
• Focus on continuous improvement with the teams
• Facilitate internal and external communication both inside and outside the Engineering department
• Gather team relevant metrics that the team can use to reflect and improve working practices
• Protect the team’s from external interruptions
• Work with and coach the teams to remove blockers, and escalate when they can’t be removed
• Work with Product Managers and teams to ensure the backlog is healthy and prioritised ensuring all committed work meet the definition of ready
• Work with team to implement the appropriate Agile framework leveraging on your experiences

• You are a proven Agile Delivery Manager with at least 3 years experience and will have worked in many agile environments.
• You have a deep understanding of the Scrum and Kanban frameworks and will have worked within teams using these delivery models
• You have a solid understanding of the SDLC
• You have excellent knowledge and previous experience using Agile management tools i.e. Jira
• You will have coached teams towards becoming self managing and self organising. You should be able to effectively facilitate conversations to ensure you harbor an inclusive environment therefore, allowing the team to see things from each others perspective
• You will be proactive, fun and enthusiastic and always looking for ways to inject energy into the teams you work within and the wider department
